The cuts hit multiple offices: 145 employees in Pittsburgh, 129 in Las Vegas, and 93 combined in Milpitas and Venice. The entire high-performance computing team was eliminated, and technical program management was cut from 44 to 19 people. Chief Operating Officer Abe Ghabra also departed. The restructuring came as partner Aptiv reduced its equity stake from 50% to roughly 15%, while Hyundai invested $475 million and bought additional equity to maintain control.
