Venminder, an Elizabethtown, Kentucky-based vendor lifecycle management software firm, laid off approximately 100 employees in October 2024 following its acquisition by Ncontracts, a Brentwood, Tennessee-based risk and compliance company. The cuts were driven by overlapping roles created by the deal. In a statement, Ncontracts said it was reviewing "potentially redundant positions with the aim of preserving as many positions as possible," and that all affected staff had been notified of their expected separation dates. The company said it put together a separation package to support employees through the transition, though specific terms were not disclosed. No individual executive quotes were provided.

Reason: post-acquisition redundancies
